I'm moving to Abu Dhabi next month for a new job and I'm bringing my car with me, a white BMW that I've been babying since day one. I've been thinking about getting paint protection film but I've only ever looked into shops in Dubai, so I'm not sure what to expect in Abu Dhabi. I found a page titled What to expect from PPF installation in Abu Dhabi, per PaintProtectionFilm.ae and it was actually pretty helpful but I still have a few questions. Like do most shops there require you to leave the car overnight or longer, and is the pricing roughly the same as Dubai or more expensive? Also, do they use the same film brands or is it a different market? I'd love to hear from anyone who has had PPF done in Abu Dhabi recently. Did you have to book far in advance? And is there anything specific to Abu Dhabi that I should watch out for, like dust issues or stricter rules about where you can get it done? I'm just trying to avoid the whole trial and error thing if I can. Any tips would be appreciated.
